Save the Internet and save the world from destruction, and all the evil doings of big corporations
When we log onto the Internet, we take a lot for granted. We assume we’ll be able to access any Web site we want, whenever we want, at the fastest speed, whether it’s a corporate or mom-and-pop site. We assume that we can use any service we like — watching online video, listening to podcasts, sending instant messages — anytime we choose. What makes all these assumptions possible is Net Neutrality.

I just really like this guy: Chris Piascik. Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Letterer, creative genius. LOVE IT!!
The first of what will probably be many summer projects, The Logo Alphabet.
The Alphabet is made up of 26 different logos, all of which are global brands. It also comes with a nice little index at the bottom of each sheet to let you know where each letter has come from.
i’ve been doing lots of script practice for some wedding invites im doing, so this was something i could appreciate. and heck, it’s effing beautiful!

Stranger and Stranger
I have always been OBSESSED with liqueur & wine packaging as well as labels. you can always find me staring at bottles in the “wine & spirits” section of the grocery stores, sometimes dragging friends over to a specific bottle or label i really enjoy. I keep telling people that the thing I am most excited about turning 21 is that I will finally be able to purchase the labels and bottles I am most fond of, just so I can have them to be glorified, in their un-opened glory, just to admire their design. (I am such a graphics nerd.) Some of the following posts will be mainly some recent finds. This company in particular is Stranger and Stranger. They are a packaging design and branding company who, since 1994, specialize in alcoholic drinks.
